Maria Lyng

Maria Lyng is a self-taught Danish illustrator with a BA in Visual Communication and experience in working for two big design studios and running her own company for 10 years.

For 5 years she ran her company from Paris and her eye for aesthetics lead her to client projects ranging from branding for established international companies to packaging, illustrations and overall visual identities for small start-up businesses.

Her work has been featured both online and in print such as Gestalten’s Los Logos books.

2020 was a difficult year for everyone due to Covid-19 so Maria created drawing classes under the name “RO.” (meaning “peace/calmness” in Danish) and offering Meditative Drawing Retreats, to teach people how to use drawing as a form of meditation and stress-relief to use in their daily life.
